Chris Back in the Studio – Album Report

Posted on January 7, 2018

In a recently intercepted carrier pigeon message, Chris had written: “I was hoping to record the vocals over the summer of last year, but my computer dying put paid to that plan.  Anyway, before I do anything else, I have decided to get the guitar parts sorted out first –it seems like a good idea to get the guitar parts finished before doing the vocals and before having the non-band parts – clarinet and so on – recorded, too.  I still have a couple more guitar parts to record and quite a lot of guitar – recorded a while back – to edit as well, so now I’m planning to do the vocals over the summer of this year.  And then, after the other instruments are done, off to mixing and mastering!  Light at the end of the tunnel.  Man, what a long tunnel it has proven to be….”
