Chris and Doctor Darkman continue their rehearsals while waiting for Yamaha to return to upgrade the studio’s wiring and outlets.
Contrary to Chris’s intentions, Yamaha originally installed ordinary consumer-grade components while the studio was being constructed, and Chris has been waiting for some time now for Yamaha to return and replace the electrics with proper studio-grade components.
Chris had this to say: “Although we are all very, very impatient to start recording – and I mean IMPATIENT in full capital letters! – I am not going to start until I am completely sure the studio is the best it can be, and that is not the case right now. Yamaha dropped the ball, and we are now waiting for them to come and pick it up again. And did I mention how impatient we all are to get started?!
“Anyway, our rehearsals are going. It’s going to be good…”

ヤマハを待ちながら、リハーサル
スタジオの電気工事を待ちながら、クリスとドクター・ダークマンがリハーサルを続けています。
クリスの意思に反してヤマハが一般消費者仕様の部品をスタジオ工事中に設置してしまいました。そしてクリスは今、ヤマハが適切なスタジオ仕様の部品に取り換えてくれるのを待っているところです。
クリス：「録音を始めたい気持ちがものすごく強いけど、スタジオが最善の状態じゃないと始められないね。ヤマハが最初に設置した電気の配線、コンセント等は、普通の家庭用の部品だったから、専用オーディオの部品に交換してから、録音をスタートさせます。とにかく、ドクター・ダークマンとのリハーサルは上手く行っています。楽しみですね。」
