I started studying the piano when I was two, and graduated from the Education Department of one of the music colleges in Tokyo.
I was originally intending to become a music teacher, but I gave up that idea when I realized I wasn’t at all suited to it!
Now I work freelance at various music-related jobs — I am well-suited to working freelance!
I think I’m one of those people of indeterminate age! Could be in my twenties… could be in my forties… Actually, I’m in my thirties!
My favorite pianist is Friedrich Gulda. I aspire to his sensitive and unfettered playing style.
Of all the great composers, my favorite is Brahms, to the degree that I actually think I might be slightly in love with him!!
When I was a high school student, I was totally into the Beatles, and spent every last yen of my pocket money on them, paying my fan-club subscription, buying records and such like (I was utterly penniless, but I don’t regret it for a moment!).
At the time, I was very attracted to the melodic nature of Paul’s songs, but as I got older, my very soul and every fiber of my being was taken over by the wistful nature of George’s music…. or something to that effect!!
And even now, I still love the rock music of the sixties and seventies that I loved when I was younger: it is my daily bread and my sustenance! In both eating habits and music-listening habits, I’m a pure omnivore!
私は2歳からピアノを学び、都内にある音楽大学の教育学部を卒業しました。
教員志望でしたが、私にはまったく向いていないと気が付き断念。
現在はフリーランスとして音楽関連で活動中。フリーが向いていました。
20代にも40代にも見られる年齢不詳人間。本当は30代まっただ中。
一番好きなピアニストはフリードリヒ・グルダ。彼の自由かつ繊細な音楽に憧れる。
すべての偉大な作曲家の中でも一番好きなのはブラームス。これはLOVEの域である。
高校時代はビートルズに熱中し、ファンクラブ費用やレコード購入など、おこずかいをすべてつぎ込みました。(完全な無一文になったけれど、一切の後悔なし！)。
当時はポールのメロディックな音楽に魅了されましたが、歳をとってくるとジョージの哀愁が身に染みる…なーんて。
当時聴いた60年代70年代のロックミュージックは今でも大好きで、私の日々の糧になっていると感じています。食事も音楽も「雑食」系。
