Out for a quiet pint at The Fiddler (a well-known British-style pub in Takadanobaba, Tokyo) with friend and frequent musical collaborator John Fowler, Chis is coaxed onstage to perform an impromptu couple of songs. Coming after a year of sorting through eligible songs with a view to renewing his musical activities, Chris seizes the opportunity to commit to performing a “showcase” at the pub later in the year in August, and decides on the name “Edward’s Operation” for his new band.

クリスがパブ、ザ・フィドラーで演奏
友人で音楽活動の協力者ジョン・ファウラーとザ・フィドラーへ飲みに出かけた際、口車に乗せられてステージに上がり、即興で数曲歌う羽目に。
1年近く作品を整理していたクリスが、その年の8月、ザ・フィドラーで演奏する機会を獲得ました。「エドワーズ・オペレーション」を新しいバンド名に決定。
