After several years of preparation and studio construction (and upgrades!), the band finally begin the recording of their debut album. On July 8th, Dr Darkman laid down the first drum tracks for the album (title still to be announced). “I nailed that sucker,” said the Doctor, beaming. “We got some good tracks,” said Chris, clearly pleased. “Guitars next, when I can find a couple of days to rub together.”

数年に及ぶ準備やスタジオ工事がやっと終わり、７月８日に、クリスとドクター・ダークマンが最初の歌のドラム・パートを録音。これがエドワーズ・オペレーションのデビュー・アルバム（タイトルの発表はこれから）。「やったぜ！」とドクター・ダークマン。「とても上手く行った。次は僕のギターパートだ。」とクリス。
