Chris is currently in the process of making the difficult choice of which recording equipment to purchase for the studio.
Having decided to go with industry-standard recording software Pro Tools, much of the choice of peripheral devices is, helpfully!, decided by default by the software itself.
Insiders tell us that Chris has his eye on a Neumann U87, a vocal mic (but great for recording just about any instrument) used in studios across the world. And there is the difficult choice of a nice pre-amp, too.
In a recent interview, Chris had this to say: “It’s tricky! There are so many great pre-amps out there. I’d like to get one of each, but I don’t think my finances will stretch that far!”
When all preparations are complete, the recording of Edward’s Operation’s first album will begin.

最近のインタビューでクリスが言うには… 「ものすごくたくさん良いプリアンプがあって選ぶのが難しいよ。一つずつ買って使ってみたいけど、そんなお金はないからね。」
